Hello to all. I do love uncovering bits of our history. I consider myself a relic hunter but do not turn away coin finds either. Relics just seem to tell a better story of our past. Everyone had at some point a coin to lose, but not everyone had the same household items, jewelry, buttons, guns, personalized pendants, lighters etc. History is more than the style of coin our government decided to mint year to year. It is the lost buckle from shoes, knees, military uniforms. Farmers buttons, horse tack, rosettes even the odd car, truck, tractor, or wagon parts that tells the story of our past. Hell even the rusty bent square nails we all dig, someone had to make them, some by hand. Looking forward to seeing what else gets posted on this site.
